Museum Renovation Project

The museum is undergoing a major renovation and will be closed for most of 2026. The museum will be OPEN at least until Jan. 25, 2026.

Current Status: The museum is OPEN. The final regular open day will be Jan. 25, 2026, with an additional bonus day on the 18th.

1/16/2026: Permit issued 12/3/2025: New address assigned - 6215 SE Alder 12/1/2025: Plans accepted for review by Portland's Bureau of Development Services.
